The Paparazzi usually check the Arquette's home as they drive into Malibu. And, on this day Jennifer's Range Rover was parked in front of the Arquette's home. To the photographers this is a major event. One Paparazzi group called in a couple of their guys and Paparazzi vehicles started arriving from all over Los Angeles.
There were a few photographers staked out in front of the Arquettes home. A second group of photographers made their way to the beach to check if the Arquette's were on their deck or if they were walking the beach with Jennifer. The Paparazzi's found the three on the Arquette's deck taking in the sunshine and chatting away. So, one brazen Paparazzi pulls out his camera and starts taking photos of the trio on the deck of the home.
David Arquette spots the photographer and goes ballistic. David screams and curses at the brazen photographers. He screams to the photographers that they want privacy and to leave the trio alone. The photographers usually don't like scraming celebrities and made a hasty retreat.
The local police were called. A Police helicopter started flying over the beach to see if any of the culprits were still around. But, the photographers left before the helicopter got there. In front of the Arquette house was a different story. There were about 8 Paparazzi vehicles on the street surrounding the Range Rover waiting to see Jennifer leave so they could follow her home or to wherever she would go. A little later a police vehicle arrived and questioned the photographers as to why they were all there.
The Paparazzi problem in Malibu is getting pretty bad. The Paparazzi are very brazen and drive around in groups. Most are either German, French or British. The locals are complaining and the police and City Hall don't seem to know how to contain them. So, the police issue tickets for small infractions. Tickets are issued to the Paparazzi for broken tail lights, no front license plates, too dark window tinting on their vehicles, parking where the Paparazzi shouldn't be.
And, that is exactly what happened in front of the Arquette's home. Tickets were issued and photographers were chased off. A very typical day in Malibu.
