The LA Law Is Going After The Paparazzi

The Paparazzi are in the news. Their aggressive behavior has been criticized by Hollywood. Now, it is being watched by LA law enforcement.

With all the recent mishaps between the celebrities and the Paparazzi in the last few months the Celebrities are angry. There has been so much trouble lately that the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office is investigating the Paparazzi behavior in Los Angeles.

The District Attorney is deciding whether they should go after the Paparazzi and their agencies and charge certain ones with Criminal Conspiracy which is a felony. The District Attorney is investigating whether the photographers work together to go after the celebrities and possibly cause them harm.

There is a problem in Los Angeles with certain overly aggressive Paparazzi photographers working with certain agencies and some foreign hard core Paparazzi.

A number of the foreign photographers have come to Los Angeles because their own countries don't condone what they do and have tried to stop or slow them down before someone gets hurt. So, they all come to the United States and Los Angeles to practice their hard core form of journalism. And, they are teaching certain US companies their foreign techniques.

Many of the foreign Paparazzi are very aggressive drivers and this is where the problems start. Because these guys have no problem with high speed aggressive pursuits of the A-list celebrities.

These photographers come from the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Australia. Now, there are a number of photographers practicing this type of aggressive journalism from South America. Many are illegal in this country. They do not have work visas. Many have tourist visas and once here just stay indefinitely.

Do the photographers work together? Yes, some from certain agencies do. Many use Nextel Warlike Talkie phones to keep in touch with each other. When there is a celebrity sighting, these photographers will call in "the troops" to help them follow the celebrity and get the best photo from different angles and also try to block out their Paparazzi competition.

Do the photographers intestinally run celebrities off the road? No, they don't. But, the driving is sometime fast with many vehicles from different agencies following. With so many Paparazzi vehicles and celebrities running to try and lose these Paparazzi vehicles mistakes are made by both the celebrity and the aggressive Paparazzi.

Fault should equally fall on both parties. The celebrity from thinking that because they can by fast expensive cars they are capable of running away and losing the photographers. The Paparazzi should not participate in these high speed chases having to run red lights and stop signs to keep up with the fleeing celebrity.

It is a dangerous game for both the celebrity and the Paparazzi. Sooner or later unless something is done about it, someone either a Paparazzi or celebrity is going to get seriously hurt.

An accident is something no one wants. So, everyone should slow down.
